Basic Egg1.05x

The entry-level egg. Hatch your first one as soon as you have 50 Wins. The Mini Dumpling pet provides a 1.05x Training Boost — small but better than no pet at all. Replace once you can afford Uncommon Eggs.

Uncommon Egg1.15x

The best value egg in early-to-mid game. The 1.15x Training Boost meaningfully speeds up your Power growth. Use a Luck Potion before hatching to maximize the chance of the Soy Sauce Pup, which sits at the higher end of this tier.

Rare Egg1.40x

The first egg that dramatically changes your training speed. A 1.40x Training Boost cuts your Power build time by almost 30%. Always use a Luck Potion before hatching. Worth saving 1,200 Wins rather than wasting them on more Basic Eggs.

Epic Egg1.80x

Post-first-Rebirth target. The 1.80x Training Boost cuts Power build time by nearly half. Paired with an Epic Squishy, this combination allows for extremely fast race cycles. Only hatch after your first Rebirth when your Wins income is high enough.

Legendary Egg2.50x

The end-game pet goal. The 2.50x Training Boost means you build Power in 40% of the time compared to no pet. Stack every available Luck Potion and Luck Boost (from Squishy) before hatching. The Golden Dumpling Dragon is the strongest pet in the game.

Luck Potion Strategy

Luck Potions increase your chance of hatching a higher-multiplier pet from any egg roll. The effect is significant — without a Luck Potion, you might hatch a low-end pet from a Rare Egg. With one active, your odds of hitting the top pet in that egg's pool improve substantially.

The rule is simple: never hatch a Rare, Epic, or Legendary Egg without a Luck Potion active. Basic and Uncommon Eggs are cheap enough that the cost-per-attempt is low, so Luck Potions are optional. But for expensive eggs, wasting a roll without a Luck Potion is one of the most costly mistakes in Dumpling Squishy Race.

You can get Luck Potions from codes (LUCKYDUMPLING and UPD2 both give one), from race milestone rewards, and as Rebirth bonuses. Stack your Luck Potion supply before attempting any Legendary Egg hatches.

Free Bird Pet — Code UPD1

Redeem code UPD1 for a free Bird Pet!

The Bird Pet provides a baseline Training Boost at zero cost. It is the best first pet for any new player — redeem UPD1 the moment you log into Dumpling Squishy Race for the first time.
